Čínská automobilka BYD vstupuje do souboje se sportovními ikonami. Nový model Denza Z má ambice konkurovat legendárnímu Porsche 911 a snaží se zaujmout evropské řidiče nejen výkonem, ale i moderními technologiemi a designem. Pomoci má i tvář herce Daniela Craiga - známého představitele Jamese Bonda. Agent 007 by měl přitáhnout pozornost fanoušků sporotvních aut směrem k této čínské značce.

Porsche se stáhne z vytrvalostních závodů. Hypercar 963 zůstane soukromé

Porsche šokovalo svět motorsportu oznámením, že po sezoně 2026 ukončí svůj tovární program v kategorii Hypercar, čímž definitivně opustí seriál WEC (World Endurance Championship) i slavný závod 24 hodin Le Mans jako tovární tým. I přes rekordních 19 vítězství v Le Mans se ikonická značka stáhne kvůli změnám v ekonomice a strategii. Nadále ale zůstává aktivní v americké sérii IMSA, Formuli E a její vozy Porsche 963 budou nadále využívat soukromé týmy. Motorsportové dění s logem Porsche tak zdaleka nekončí.

Porsche 962 patří mezi nejikoničtější sportovní prototypy v historii automobilového závodění. Od poloviny 80. let dominoval světovým okruhům, vyhrál slavný vytrvalostní závod 24 hodin Le Mans, ovládl americkou sérii IMSA GTP i evropskou Interserii, a zazářil také na českých tratích v Mostě a Brně. V letech 1984–1994 sbíral vítězství, tituly i respekt soupeřů. Co stálo za jeho úspěchem a proč se stal symbolem zlaté éry vytrvalostních závodů?

Porsche 356: poslední dílo rodáka z Vratislavic a první vůz se slavným logem

Auta Porsche se v Zuffenhausenu vyrábí už 75 let. Z továrničky, která měla velikost malého sportovního hřiště se v průběhu desetiletí stal v dnešní čtvrti Zuffenhausen německého města Stuttgart komplex s rozlohou jeden čtvereční kilometr. První sériově vyráběný model bylo Porsche 356, pod nímž je podepsán Ferdinand Porsche, geniální automobilový konstruktér z Vratislavic, který zanechal nesmazatelnou stopu v automobilovém průmyslu. Kromě současných sériových modelů dnes vznikají v Zuffenhausenu i motory pro modely, které se dělají jinde. Tedy pro obě SUV Cayenne i Macan i pro Panameru.
