Automobilka Renault má v současné době velmi širokou nabídku modelů kategorie SUV. Ve většině z nich nabízí také unikátní hybridní systém, na kterém spolupracovali i experti z týmu F1 Alpine. Jedním z vozů, ve kterých může být namontovaný, a navíc ve vylepšené podobě, je modernizované střední rodinné SUV Austral. První stovky kilometrů jsem s ním abslolvoval v rámci mezinárodní novinářské jízdní prezentace v okolí katalánské metropole Barcelona.
