bought in CZ, not crashed, service book, M57 je jeden z povedenějších dieselových šestiválců BMW. Při dobré údržbě není problém, aby měl 300 000 km+, a právě starší 173kW verze je obecně považována za velmi rozumnou volbu. Testy ojetin Velká výhoda oproti pozdějšímu N57 je rozvodový řetěz vpředu, takže případná výměna není zdaleka tak komplikovaná jako u N57, kde je řetěz vzadu u převodovky. Vozidlo je plně funkční a spolehlivé.
